2008 Woodie Awards
As the weather heats up, we can don our summer attire, say goodbye to textbooks (well, some of us at least), and get ready to enjoy arguably the best months here in the Pacific Northwest. We only receive this weather for so long folks, so let's take advantage of it and make this summer one to remember! Here are some ideas to help you enjoy your summer as much as possible.
As I sat in the dark theater waiting for the much anticipated chick flick of the summer to begin, I gazed ahead at the rows of seats filled with women of all ages. As a virgin to the HBO series, my comprehension of "Sex and the City" was limited. Four women, a lot of sex, New York City, and Manolo Blahniks.
Are finals really already here? Those papers I knew about a month ago are due tomorrow? Time to sell my textbooks back for an extremely small amount money again? Yes, folks, it is finals season again. The season where students inevitably migrate to the library and Starbucks' stock raises a few points solely due to University of Washington students.
