Favorite UWT professors nominated
Issue date: 2/14/08 Section: Campus News
Each year the University of Washington Tacoma hands out the Distinguished Teaching Award to one exceptional professor.
The award comes with $5,000, a plaque and recognition at the graduation ceremonies for UW Seattle and UWT. Recipients may only savor the experience once - the same professor can't win twice. Faculty and students submit nominations each year. A committee comprising of faculty, the previous year's winner, one student and one alumna will decide who wins the award. The winner will be announced at the end of March.
