Meditation is a great way to reduce stress and attempt to control the chaos of the human mind. And it’s not really difficult to get started. You just need a quiet place to meditate, a few minutes and openness to meditation. In addition, you’ll also need a comfortable posture. Breathing Meditation
1. Choose a quiet place to meditate and sit in a comfortable position. You can even sit in a chair.
2. Sit with eyes partially closed and turn your attention to your breathing. Breathe through the nostrils and be mindful of your breath as it enters and exits through the nostrils.
3. Try to focus strictly on your breathing.
4. Your mind will be very busy, simply realize the thoughts in your mind. Try not to follow the thoughts entering your mind; just focus on your breathing.
5. Gradually your thoughts should subside and you should be better able to control those thoughts. You should experience greater peace and relaxation.
Breathing meditation is a very basic form of mediation, but it should show you that it is possible only control the mind, without having to depend on external conditions.
