New president to lead ASUWT

ASUWT changed leadership over spring break with K. Douglas Smith becoming the new president. Former president Sarah Myers resigned due to her pregnancy.
Smith, the former ASUWT vice president and a senior in the computing and software systems program, will replace Myers for Spring Quarter. Elections for a new president and vice president will be held from April 17 to April 22 . The new leadership will begin their term Autumn Quarter 2006.
