The University of Washington, Tacoma will hold a celebration commemorating its 15 years of exisitance. The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, starting at 6 p.m.
The event is being hosted by UWT Chancellor Patricia Spakes and UW President Mark Emmert. UW Regent William H. Gates and former UW President William Gerberding are scheduled to speak. The event is being underwritten by Milgard Manufacturing, the Russell Investment Group, and Comcast.
