Red, the color of passion and love, violence and warfare, is the hottest of the warm colors.  Red is power and lust. In some cultures red signifies purity, joy and celebration. In the past, Saudi brides wore red dresses. In South Africa red is the color of mourning, but most elderly people will recognize this color's association with communism.

To me, red is purely beautiful. My eyes are attracted to red garments and accessories.  In the right shade, it is such a rich color.

Essential to every well balanced wardrobe are these three items: a pair of red shoes, a captivating red dress and the perfect shade of red lipstick. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being the center of attention.

Why else do you think Christian Louboutin paints the bottoms of his magnificent shoes red, and Dorothy wandered around in ruby slippers?

As far as fashion is considered, red is glamorous and vintage. A woman who has the courage and style to don red is one to be admired. The ability to wear this bold color cannot be acquired by just anyone.

Roses, strawberries, Bloody Marys, peppers or nail polish; no matter what it's form, red is intoxicating.
